I just about died when I saw the above spread in Trunk Magazine of a look-alike Jane Birkin and Serge Gainsbourg. I love the iconic paradody and think it's amazing how well the photos match the actual couple and events. The first four are from the mag and the last two are of the actual couple. My favorite (of a cigarette smoking Serge in a convertible with Jane as co-captain) has yet to be found online. I also love when worlds collide; I would never have found Trunk had it not been for the Sibella Court book signing (in which she's mentioned in the mag) at Anthropologie. (Also, not to mention the models in the tribute shoot are our very own NEXT models)... love it.
I am obsessed with these throw pillows that I stumbled across on my newish love Pinterest. Usually I'm drawn to super soft colors that blend well together (like the ones above), but I like that these patterns also integrate colors I'd normally be a little intimidated by like the deep oranges and maroons. I want a hundred different shades, textures and patterns all over my bed now!
The Rapture | How Deep is You Love?
I don't exactly remember at what point over my birthday weekend was I dancing in circles to this, but I know I was almost alone in screaming the words out. I'm obsessed with this song and insist on turning it up to the highest volumes to listen. I suggest that's how you try it out as well. Hope you die for this as much as me.

After making the big move to Los Angeles, searching for apartments, and the strenuous job hunting, we are finally settled and have time to share the things that make us happy! We and are so excited to have TGL back in action. Ladies, add us back to your bookmarked pages...we're baack!
Check out this sick campaign for Vanessa Bruno starring Kate Bosworth. The video is as fiercely bizarre as it is chic [i.e. strange but not terrifying]. The song that plays throughout gives it a nice little backbone; I need to figure out what it is. What I really want to know is how she ends up atop the tree in the end, because now I'm curious.
I know you've already heard it from everyone you know, but seriously, download "Watch the Throne" the new album by Kanye West and Jay-Z. Having seen both of them in concert, I guess you could say I am a pretty big fan. But aside from the two hip hop legends, there are some great collaborations in the album. "Otis" ft. Otis Redding is by far my favorite, but "Lift Off" ft. Beyonce is a close second.
