Chloe' Spring Line 2011

I die for the one-shouldered, peach number. I also love how every piece is paired with very thin, pale, ballet flats. Being a tall girl myself, I appreciate seeing how flats work on these lanky models and refrain from looking too prissy at the same time.

I Used to Write Letters...

Indie band, Arcade Fire, has recently made the jump from unknown artists to magazine cover stars and sold-out-stadium dwellers. This song from their new album, The Suburbs, can't seem to make its way out of my head. I even love this video in which front man, Win Butler, basically makes the stage his bitch.

Ch-ch-check it out

Destination: Solana Beach, CA

In an attempt to take advantage of my last few days at home, my Mom and I decided to go to one of our favorite shopping spots.  Solana Beach is a small beach town in San Diego that has to-die-for antique shops, high-end boutiques and urban gift shops.  My favorite store, Solo, is filled with decorative coffee-table books, stationary and unique gift wrap.

Dying to Own...

Who We See Mod Wedge $88 | Urban Outfitters

I oddly came down with the flu yesterday afternoon (I have never had the flu in my life), so I have been sitting on the couch for two days now looking up new music and online shopping. I am dying to add these new pieces to my wardrobe.  They are all great transition pieces from winter to spring. I have been wanting a pair of black wedges for awhile now, but have yet to find the perfect pair. I have also been wanting to buy an oversized fedora, I just need to find somewhere to wear it. As for the leopard pumps, I love the solid black platform.

Leopard Print Platform $49.99 | Zara
Kingsley Wool Fedora $160 | Rag & Bone
"Chronicle" Stainless Steel Watch $350  | Nixon

Concrete Jungle

dress, urban outfitters | booties, michael kors | fur jacket, urban outfitters

In preparation for New Year's Eve in NYC, I went on a search for the perfect outfit. I found this dress at Urban Outfitters, but since it's soft pink and metallic gold, I was worried I'd stick out amongst the black frocks of New York. Not to fear though, the light boots gave me a long leg, while the dark jacket added the right amount of sophisticated contrast. I'm obsessed with this furry jacket and can't wait to see what other outfits I can mix it into.
Happy New Years!

Even though I didn't have to endure much cold weather this winter while living in Arizona and Texas, I am already looking forward to new spring collections. We are starting to receive our new collection at J Crew and I cannot wait to pick up these items for my spring wardrobe.
