Taylor Jennings -- COACHELLA.

I had been counting down the days until Coachella 2010 ever since the lineup of all lineups was released. The music festival is such a wonderful combination of things: lights, art, hippies, sunshine, desert, insomnia, camping, bandeaus, sunburns, music, loud music, good music, live music. It definitely exceeded my expectations. Zooey Deschanel bounced around on stage shaking her tambourine occasionally smirking at M. Ward. Yeasayer coaxed me up onto Charlie's shoulders to thoroughly enjoy the set and unique sound. Miike Snow got me to jump up and down and sweat profusely (which is a rare occasion) as they stood on stage in white masks while the perfect amount of techo mixed with alternative beat through the tent. And after talking our way onto the sound deck, we experienced Florence and the Machine's, Florence Welch glide across the stage like a fairy singing with the lead singer of Cold War Kids. Not a single complaint. Bring it on Coachella 2011.
